Tom Wing

MSc, BSc (Hons), HCPC, MCSP, BASRAT-REG, G.S.R., CSCS, CEP

Owner, Lead Physiotherapist, Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer

Two years ago I completed my Masters in Pre-registration Physiotherapy graduating with a Distinction,  following my graduation with first class honours from (BSc) Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation course, as well as being awarded the Graybrook prize for attaining the highest overall mark on all the Sports Rehabilitation courses across the United Kingdom. I have subsequently became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

I have gained extensive experience as a Sports Therapist, Strength & Conditioning Coach and Physiotherapist, notably working as Head of Sports Science and Medicine for Middlesbrough Women F.C., as a Sports Therapist/Strength & Conditioning Coach at Teesside University, York City F.C and a Clinical Supervisor on the Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation course at Teesside University. Alongside my role at the Teesside Centre of Health and Performance, I am currently a Physiotherapist at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust in MSK Outpatients working as a Senior Physiotherapist treating a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. In addition, I work as part of the Specialist Acute Knee (ACL) rehabilitation team, Minor Injuries Unit team assessing and rehabilitating acute injuries and am the lead clinician delivering physiotherapy provision in Orthopaedic Fracture Clinic.

Millie Bell

PGCert, BSc (Hons)

Strength & Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer and Physiotherapy Student

I am currently halfway through Masters in Pre-registration Physiotherapy where I am predicted to graduate with Distinction, following my graduation with first class honours from (BSc) and postgraduate certificate in Exercise Science.

I currently play football for Middlesbrough Womens F.C., where I suffered from two ACL ruptures in four seasons and returned to competitive football last season. During this three year period I have come to understand the hardwork and dedication that is needed for any athlete to rehabilitate from a major injury and improve onfield performance. I feel this period of my life will allow me to deliver the best possible interventions to my clients.

I have gained experience as a Strength & Conditioning Coach working for Teesside Centre of Health and Performance predominantly working with Grangetown Netball Club. I worked at David Lloyds for a number of years as a fitness instructor where I ran group physical activity sessions for children. Furthermore, I am currently working towards becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Alec Ward

 Physiotherapist, Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach
1.5 years ago I completed my Masters in Pre-registration Physiotherapy following my graduation with first class honours from (BSc) Sport and Exercise Science course. During this time at University I achieved academic awards for the best dissertation project across all sport and exercise courses.
 I have gained extensive experience as a Sports Scientist, Strength & Conditioning Coach and Physiotherapist, notably working at Middlesbrough Football Club 1st team as a Sport Science Intern and a Sports Scientist / Strength & Conditioning Coach at Teesside University throughout my time there.
 Alongside my role at the Teesside Centre of Health and Performance, I am currently a Physiotherapist at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust in MSK Outpatients working as a Physiotherapist treating a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
 I have a particular interest in public health and would welcome working with anyone from all backgrounds whether you would like to get fitter, stronger, lose weight, or improve your athletic performance!

Seb Kazemi

MSc, BSc, HCPC
Physiotherapist, Sports Therapist and Personal Trainer
I have been qualified as a Physiotherapist for the last 7 years, after attaining a first class honours in BSc Sports Therapy. Previous to attending university I worked as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. I have personal interests in running related injuries and strength & conditioning. I enjoy being active and am a keen runner, other interests are playing golf and cycling.

I have gained experience working in a number of settings within the NHS, professional sports and private settings. I initially started working in sport part time with Middlesbrough Academy, which developed into a full-time role as lead physiotherapist for 9-16’s, this led to opportunities working with the U18’s and 23’s on match days and during rehabilitation. In my time totalling 7 years I worked with a number of experienced Physiotherapists and Sport Scientists within a multidisciplinary team.

I currently work at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Physiotherapist in MSK Physiotherapy Outpatients, within this setting I have treated a wide range of conditions, part of my time is leading and working in a specialised Minor Injury Clinic, and work in a specialist pain service setting.

Shauna Gatley

Sports Therapist, Strength and Conditioning coach and Physiotherapy Student
I am currently halfway through my Masters Degree in Pre-Registration Physiotherapy where I will graduate in summer 2025, following my graduation with a 2:1 from (BSc) Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2021.

I have gained experience as a sports therapist working as Head Sports Therapist at York City Football Club for their youth and Academy teams and Currently head Sports therapist for Teesside University Emerging Talent Centre. I work as a Clinical Supervisor for Teesside University Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation course and alongside this I work as a senior sports assistant and gym instructor for Teesside Sport.

Jp Meade

Strength & Conditioning Coach, Current BSc in sports therapy and rehabilitation aiming to further my studies through a Masters in Physiotherapy.

I am currently 2/3rds of the way through my Undergraduate in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, where I am predicated to graduate with Distinction. Alongside my studies I work at the Nuffield Hospital as a Physiotherapy assistant gaining valuable experience within the field of physiotherapy and orthopaedics, where I am on a ward and in an outpatient setting. I am the owner of @Spor7s_massage where I work alongside Teesside Centre for Health and Performance (TCHP) as the lead Sports Massage Therapist. I also work as a Strength and conditioning coach within TCHP.

I play international cricket for Italy, where I am in the process of trying to qualify for the 2026 and 2027 T20 and 50 Over World Cup. During this period, I have learnt and still learning to understand the hard work and dedication that is needed for any athlete to achieve and pursue their goals within sport and exercise. I feel this period of my life will allow me to deliver the best possible interventions to my clients.
